ORConsulting: Psychologists who see business differently

We ask a lot of our clients. We ask them to look at their business in new ways, to explore what lies beneath, to be interested in what’s really going on – rather than just skimming the surface.

In return our clients ask a lot of us. They want us to know our stuff, of course, and be really good at how we use it. And they expect more – they want a source of new ideas and original thinking. They demand that we are innovators offering new solutions to old problems and respond imaginatively to the kind of complex, human challenges faced by international companies in high-pressure environments. They also expect us to be grounded in the real world and deliver what we promise.

We can do this because our consultants are experienced clinical psychologists with a thorough understanding of what makes people and organisations tick.

An unusual combination? We like to think so.

And now we are looking for a new colleague to join us - someone who brings not only excellent qualifications, but a new perspective and an insatiable passion for the application of psychological thinking and skills to business. Someone who is also able to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

We know that this won't appeal to everyone. It's a challenging job and not the average 9- 5. Where you live is less important to us as it will require frequent travel and delivery of work within the UK and occasionally abroad. The clients we work with are bright, articulate people who do amazing things and will put you through your paces.

In return, we offer you stimulating and rewarding work where you will be respected as a professional and valued as a person. You will work within a team of supportive colleagues who will take your development seriously and encourage you to make your mark. Needless to say, we will reward you generously.

If you think this job has your name on it, we would like to hear from you.

Tell us how you think our profession can enable organisations to see themselves differently.

Or then again, simply tell us something different that will make us sit up and take notice.

Send this, along with your CV, to Andrea Cramp.
