With 20 years of experience as a senior manager at board level, teaching and consulting, Lindy is the President of ORConsulting Inc. She has an established international track record of successfully supporting top leadership of organizations in the Fortune 500 and teaching leadership self awareness and effective behaviors in the Business Schools at Lancaster (UK) and Georgetown Universities. She has developed organization-wide interventions that include adapting to culture change, increasing retention in a highly volatile market, increasing performance and managing effective relationships with trade unions.
Before becoming a consultant in 1997, Lindy served as a Board Member of a National Health Service Trust in Gloucester UK. During these years, Lindy taught psychology at Birmingham and Newcastle Universities and served as Associate Tutor to the Oxford Regional Clinical Psychology course.
Research experience includes change management in the NHS with Cranfield University, management by values with Lancaster University and well-being in the workplace in the USA. Lindy completed her clinical training at the University of Newcastle in the UK and holds postgraduate qualifications in management from Lancaster and the Open Universities in the UK. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and anthropology. Lindy is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Chartered Psychologist
She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and has 4 grown up children. Lindy is a published poet.
